Hi everyone and welcome to the first edition of

“What’s in Sammy’s Backpack!?!”

It’s a story told in pictures, so check it out below, in no particular order …

Here you see a card about the Great White shark, a Bakugan, a big-headed Spiderman, a light-saber stylus and in the back, the 10th Doctor!

2 Books, Voyage of the Frog by Gary Paulson, one of Sammy’s favorite authors, and of course, a Goosebumps book. Also a Lego Harry Potter pen. Go figure.

Inside his binder, a Beatles folder. Cool!

A one of a kind, hand-made book on how to draw Cartoon Network characters, step by step. by Sammy.

His binder, complete with Adventure Time cover. Nice.

A never-used red poncho, the 9th Doctor, and the empty child. Which begs the question, “Are you my mummy?”

A Fushigi ball, which was stored in the knit cap. Sammy agrees the ball is not worth $20. His brother bought it from a friend for $5 and gave it to him. Sammy is selling it for $5 if you are interested.

A bag FULL of Go-Gos. Not the 80’s pop band either. The line up is just a sampling – the pencil bag behind them is bursting with cheap, plastic goodness.

And last, but certainly not least….wait for it and prepare yourself….

A Slitheen! Don’t have nightmares folks! It’s an alien fro Doctor Who…a very gassy alien, which may be why Sammy holds it dear…..once I dug into his backpack and was attacked by this and almost had a heart attack. Sammy says it just wants to give me a hug.

So, that’s it folks! Next time we do this, it will be what’s in Sammy’s pockets! Oh, and if you are wondering how Sammy fits all of this, plus his school books and lunch box, inside of his back pack, he said to tell you all that it is bigger on the inside!
